Meet Daniel Whittington
Daniel Whittington has been performing in venues of all shapes and sizes since the age of 11. He spent the first years of his music career playing bars and clubs all over central Texas with his dad's blues band.
In 1999, he joined a band and began touring. Over the next 5 years, they covered 47 of the 50 states, every territoryin Canada and most of the UK. By the end of the touring, they were playing for crowds averaging 2,000 or more in venues like Hollywood Bowl and the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Victoria, BC. They released four EP's and one full-length album on the UK label Furious Records.
After leaving that band he started a new lineup called "Rhodes" based out of California. They began performing and touring in clubs and theatre venues and released a full length album in 2007 that gained them the opening slot for Aerosmith.
In 2008 Daniel began work on a solo album and performing acoustic shows in Hollywood, California at venues like the Whisky, Rainbow Room, the Roxy, and the Pig and Whistle. After three months of working on the album, he moved to Austin to continue pursuing a solo career and to complete the album with a producer in Texas.
