Meet Big Fish
Big Fish is a London based 3-piece that takes inspiration from the British 1960's to create a contemporary melodic rock sound that reflects the fears and aspirations of now. Their influences include King Crimson, The Beatles, Radiohead and The Police.
The band first started as a-5 piece called Blackbird. Formed in the late 90's in Wroclaw, Poland, they were a popular live group in Wroclaw's thriving live music scene. After a period of dispersal, Blackbird got together again, this time as Big Fish, to record their album Impossible Blue including the single "Big Fish." The album wasw recorded in Tower Studios, Wroclaw, Poland and mastered at Alchemy Soho in London.
Czacha (keyboards and atmosphere) is a well known producer in Wroclaw having recorded many internationally known artists in different genres from classical to Death metal. Mariusz (guitar, bass) and Czacha spent two years in the early 2000's running the successful Tuba studio in London, recording, producing and developing artists. During that time, Michael Anderson (vocals) was a popular live artist in Baku, Azerbaijan.
All Big Fish's material is co-written with honest themes that frame the personal struggles of modern life which consume us all. Big Fish wants to continue developing its music and making it available to a wider and wider audience.
