Vocalist Kiirstin Kuhi left her former post-hardcore band and founded Hip Like [blank] with her pianist/cardsharp brother Mikal in late 2007. Since then, they've done little else but write songs and play as many shows as possible in the greater New York area?from bars to poetry clubs to rec centers and once, almost, a living room in Toms River, NJ.?With songs that are at once intimate and grandiose, playful and melancholy, Verity in Stereo draw from jazz, rock, hip-hop, folk and pop to create a sound as unique and idiosyncratic as the siblings Kuhi themselves. Their eponymous debut EP is now available at Tunes (Hoboken, NJ), Jack's Music (Red Bank, NJ), and Toms River Music (Toms River, NJ).

Jennings is the one-name moniker of NYC based siren Mary Jennings. Standing five feet, one inch tall Jennings is small in stature, her music however, is anything but. Drawing influences from artists like Imogen Heap, Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan and Moby, Jennings' music reflects an enormous strength and drive that is uniquely hers. "I believe that the difference between an artist and the average person is a fearless and relentless willingness to expose their quarks, oddities, secrets, and passions for all of the world to see and hear." said Mary.

Chris Smith is a singer/songwriter inspired by his family's extensive travels around the world and intoxicated by the wonderful music he was exposed to as he grew up. Chris's music is a blend of various influences including pop, jazz, soul and world rhythms.

Contemporary rock/pop with hints of Dire Straits and Chris Rea here and there but with their own 'algorhythms' thrown in that are distinctly Australian.
