The opportunity for me to record my own CD pretty much just fell into my lap. I've always been interested in music and it was such a great experience to go through!

The long hours in the studio, writing songs and debating about which songs to put on the CD were all worth it. It took me about 6 months to complete the CD...which really isn't a whole lot of time. I prefer to sit on the songs for a while to see if I really do like them enough to put them together and arrange them for a recording.

I also enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, which is reflected in the songs I choose to record. I try to write songs that range from pop music to country pop to techno mixes. The beauty of music is that you don't necessarily need to get something "right." Even if something is technically "wrong," it can still sound very good.

It's the catchy tunes that stick with you and they don't even need to make sense. Who knows...one of them may even become a classic! I haven't gotten any record deals yet but I am certainly still hopeful.

Meanwhile I'll continue to write songs and sing to whoever wants to hear me. I remember the time when I had to write a part of my song "Lookin' For A Reason Not to Walk Away" on an airplane barf bag. Now it's on my first CD. Anything's possible!

My music is an illustration of the emotions I'm experiencing at that time, and I try to keep them real in the lyrics. So I hope that's how people relate to my songs...and to me. Thanks for listening!
