Album Bio:
The 2007 release from JPT, Call Me Red, is a figurative analogy based on the concept of the classic Nathaniel Hawthorne literary work, The Scarlet Letter. Lead singer, Mooki explains "The truth is that every human being who has graced the planet deserves a "Scarlet Letter" because none of us are perfect and we are all on the same journey. The songs written on this release are driven by the needs, hurts, longings and joys in the lives of people and the relationships around us. We hope to communicate hope, encouragement and inspiration to everyone that hears them." Guitarist Ed Aular adds "We are really proud of the songwriting and overall sound of Call Me Red and are excited to perform these songs for audiences across the country."
The message woven throughout the songs of Call Me Red asks the intimate question "What is your letter?". Mooki explains "Call Me Red is an expression that I am a real person in need of God's grace. This realization changes all behavior, it drops chains and guilt and unleashes tangible expressions of love."
